それがBOFの設計思想です。
ABOUT USBOFとは
建築とは、大地（Field）の上に存在する箱
（Box）であるとの想いから名付けました。
すなわち建築は、単独では存在価値は薄く、環境に応じた物でなければならないという思想です。
ここでいう環境とは、ただ単に自然環境やロケーションといった物理的な部分だけでなく、
人が建築を使用する条件（機能性）や法的な制約、構造、コスト、時代といった部分なども含みます。
建築はオブジェではありません。人が住む、働く、遊ぶといった用途を必ず持ちます。
それに応じた機能性を追求し、そこから生まれてくるデザインを生かしながら、
使う人の心を動かす空間を創造すること、環境と調和した建築を創造すること、
それが私達BOF
ARCHITECTS の使命と考えています。
BASICBOFの基本姿勢
クライアントの要望を真面目に考える。

何がベストなのかを真面目に考える。
いかに美しく見せるかを真面目に考える。
納得がいくまで「よく考える」ということも、BOFの設計思想であり基本姿勢です。
与えられた環境の中でBOFの物創りは、クライアント、アーキテクト、ビルダーの三者が協力しよく考え、知恵を出し合って完成して行きます。
そのような過程の中で、びっくりするようなアイデアが生まれた多種多様のアイデア、ノウハウを提供しながら、
常に新しい発想を組み込んだ建築を創り上げています。

architecture that is in harmony with the environment.
